The four websites I had found:

http://www.attitudefactor.com/
This website basically stated how a person can adjust their own attitute of one of being more flexible by changing the way one veiws their situation.

http://www.jstor.org/pss/2576371-
is a website with an article regarding helping attitudes. The full text was only available if purchased. I did not pay for the full article and researched more on this elsewhere. The article ws incomplete and not helpful at all.

to_improve_your_mental_attitudes_001052-
is a website that states your surroundings, environment, colors, etc also affect your attitudes. I have found in studies this is utilized by casions to keep a person in the casino there playing longer. The casinos also utilze scents piped in the air to keep people calm and almost mezmorized to keep them there as well. So yes I learned that surroundings ca neither help or deter a persons attitude.

http://www.selfgrowth.com/attitude.html
has multiple resourses for checking out all kinds of suggestions to imporve your attitude. More or less a clearing house foe multiple sources. This site is helpful and gives alot of possibilities foe someone to research.

http://life.familyeducation.com/behavioral-problems/parenting/36598.html
This site gives a laundry list of things a person can do to help their personal attitude. I liked the site and learned I still have work to do on me.

These four websites were helpful in a lot of ways. Each site offered suggestions for improving or changing attitudes.I think some of the information could have been more complete and in depth, but then again I like to over analyze things. One website provided an offer to purchase the rest of the information by way of buying the book so the excerpt was incomplete and I was unwilling to purchase the full article. However I did further research this part. The site I liked the best was the family resource website. The site offered more information about any possible concern that a parent or care giver may have.the site that taught me the most was "the attitude factor" website. The site suggested that any thing that happens good or bad is up to me and my reaction to that situation. Attitudes are learned and can be unlearned or improved upon if a person is willing and motivated to change. Sometimes these attitudes come from core beleifs.

Summary of peer review:

A survey of two groups of social workers was given. The study was given to two groups of social workers one in a private setting and the other in a public setting. The survey concluded that there were inconsistencies in behavior, belief and code implementation. Belief in the code did not influence behavior consistent with the code. Findings were based on a validated professional opinions scale. The scores of those findings were significantly different. The lowest scores received from social workers in a private agency. Social workers who took different ethics courses were also low in score. The results of the study suggest that these professionals were perhaps doubtful about utilizing the code in the real world. This quote from the Social workers and the NASW Code of Ethics: belief, behavior, disjuncture states, “Respondents said they valued their work more with supervision; however, the amount of clinical and administrative supervision decreased with time.” The study also concluded that there was a difference between learning from modeled ethics and those that had not and that the participants of those ethics modeling classes were adequate. The study also states that social workers value their work more when the have supervision and feedback from that supervision. . Beliefs are important, but they do not always determine behavior.

Blog prompt 7

The last four weeks have been really busy and challenging professionally. All the hours i work plus classes and internship kept me quite busy. Usually I have Sundays to myself to do what I want. Sometimes that even is used for catch up on homework etc.
My professional life has been impacted by the contacts that I have made and the networking I have done to possibly help me in the future.
The best thing that happened to me this week was i received a promotion at work. I was promoted from general labor to team leader . With that comes a lot of responsibility and more money. The only concern I really have is the one that I may have missed some blog or assignment .

6 pillars

1. Trustworthyness: I am always on time or early for my work schedules and school as well. I do everything I say I am going to do if its within my power to do so. Otherwise I make no promises to that fact.
2. Respect: I am respectful of others for the most part. There are some who challange this with me. And its something I am working on.
3. Responsibility: I have many responsibilties and sometimes those obligations clash , but I do attempt to complete all of them as much as I can.
4. Fairness: I usually give people chances after they cross me or don't do what they say they will, or cheat me. I listen and try to understand their given situation as much as I can.
5. Caring: I care about people as a whole and dislike seeing people hurt or in pain, but who am I to take someone else's pain away ?
6.Citizenship: Currently in my feild expereince I am making a differance to the community as a whole and I enjoy what I am doing. I have done things in the past as well, community volunteering etc.

A. Practical experience in a non- profit agency..
B. Maintain at least a c average in school.
C. Gain better understanding of the resources available in the Marathon Co area.

The best thing that happened to me this week is i received many compliments about how
hardworking and creative I am.

The thing that I am concerned about it actually completing the field in the time allotted.

Brian

This blogging stuff is new to me so I am not exactly sure what i am to do. The field experience is going well but there doesn't seem to be enough hours in the day to do everything i need to do.
Time management is going to be my most difficult obstacle.
